Star System Requirements and Prerequisites
This topic details computer requirements for the following Kaneva STAR environments:- Kaneva Star Studio with local server for asset and script development
- Kaneva Star Server for game distribution, publishing, and production
Star Studio requirements
Star Studio is the part of Kaneva Star Platform appropriate for world designers, including artists, script developers, and world developers.| Studio requirements |

- Python 2.4 is required for Python scripting. Python is available from the developer or as a Kaneva STAR installation option.
- Microsoft IIS and .NET 2.0 required for local server administration.
- Autodesk 3ds Max 9.0 required if you're designing your own assets.
